Art allows for personal expression, appreciation of ideas, celebration of cultural awareness, sharing emotions, and gives purpose to life. Widespread Panic agrees with research findings that art education supports more traditional academic subjects as well as being a worthy pursuit in its own right.<\/p>\n<p>Photos of the event are now available on\u00a0<a title=\"WP facebook\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pg\/widespreadpanic\/photos\/?tab=album&amp;album_id=10155328758952662\" target=\"target=&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WP Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr id=\"t4t-history\" \/>\n<h2>History<\/h2>\n<p>Tunes For Tots began in 2005. Widespread Panic held their first\u00a0<i>Tunes for Tots\u00a0<\/i>charity VIP cocktail party and concert at Atlanta&#8217;s Roxy Theater, raising over $100,000 to purchase musical instruments for Georgia Public Schools.
